Bag boy
Sammy has finally discovered paper bags. Thank goodness. It's a toy that he won't eat and yet can have fun.
I am having the darndest time trying to find cat toys that will keep them happy during the day while we're at work. Sammy eats feathers if left alone, so anything with a feather is out. They have the crazy circle. I'm considering buying a kong and filling it with some kind of cat food. Any suggestions out there?

would he eat plastic? My cat always liked the plastic rings from milk jugs. And cardboard boxes. Catnip filled things. He would hold it between his front paws and kick at it with his back paws while simultaneously rubbing his face on it. Too bad you can't teach them to use the lazer pointer on each other.....I'm no help at all.
I'm all out of ideas, except of course those little plastic mice toys with a bell are good: he wouldn't sawllow them... would he? They'd keep him occupied.
This photograph is so cute! I adore cats! Just discovered your blog, think it's brill so I've linked you off my blog 'Diary Of Barbie's Worst Enemy'.
My cat's current favorite toy is a Q-tip. I dropped one on the floor by accident (it was unused), and she went nuts with it. I worry about her gagging herself with it, but she loves it.
Like Alissa said, the milk jug ring is another good one. Also? Try wadding up some aluminum foil into a ball and dropping it on a smooth floor (not carpeted) where it'll skid really well. That's fun.
Unfortunately Sammy does eat plastic. And aluminum foil, styrofoam, and Teva sandals. Lil' bastard. It's a good thing he's cute.
I am going to try the cardboard box, mice toys with bells, and Q-tips. Thanks ladies!
