A bit of good news

I took Sammy to our vet today. She performed another procedure and had a lot more success. At least he is comfortable and doing better. She gave me a ray of hope when she said that he doesn't look like a lymphoma patient, but also cautioned me that it could just be the start of cancer.

What an unbelievable roller coaster. I feel like I've been out of my mind for the last week, so I am really hoping for good news tomorrow or Friday. I woke up with a migraine this morning from everything. I think this is the first stress migraine I've had in years.

Thank you very much to all of you who have sent me emails, or called, or commented. I really appreciate the kind words and support. To clarify on the last post--the well meaning but distracted person is not a friend nor is it a family member.

So please keep your fingers crossed for us that we'll be out of the woods soon. I'm off to take more headache happy pills and start dinner.
