It might as well be Florida

It has been over 90 degrees here for the last 4 days. We have no air conditioning. We are all miserable, especially the fur kids. Blech. We have the Florida weather, but we are missing something fun and wonderful and freaking adorable that Florida has and Washington does not. Manatees!

We went to a local park last time we visited my parents. This park has a lot of cool features, like super-warm water year round. Last time they all went, my sister got out of the water and saw an alligator (gulp) floating by. This time Scott, Dad and I went down to look at the famed sea cows in their designated refuge.

OK, maybe I'll write something of substance tomorrow that doesn't involve me spewing our photo album on the interwebbie. Or not.
