Cable has arrived, and WTF?
1) Cable is here! I heart Direct TV. I just finished watching the Daily Show and Colbert. Now it's time to switch over to HGTV if I don't watch South Park.
2) I was all revved up to watch Friday's debate, and now it might not happen. WTF??? McCain's decision might be the dumbest political move I've ever seen. Does he have a closeted Dem advising him?
3) School has started, so it's back to the books. Toodles!

I don't know how you ever lived without cable. For real, I wouldn't last a day.
The debate thing is pissing me off royally. I was so excited about this debate - especially the fact that it was at Ole Miss, my home state, site of some major civil rights' action back in the 60's, and that it might help paint Mississippi in a slightly more positive light to see a lot of Mississippi natives supporting a black presidential candidate. I set the DVR for it several days ago, I was THAT excited. And now.... grrr. That's all I got. Just, grrr.
Now, I almost hope McCain doesn't show up so Obama gets 90 minutes of uninterrupted TV time. Fine by me.
(Btw, did you hear about McCain cancelling on Letterman? Dude! Apparently Dave Letterman is NOT a guy you want to piss off.)
Word on the street is that Obama has been practicing with a "McCain stand-in" (insert joke here) all week. McCain, on the other hand, wants to look like a Man of Action with regards to the financial crisis.
I say McCain bails partially because he's unprepared and partially because he wants to look like a dude who cares more about his country than his campaign. We'll see.
