Miserable Monday

Forget Manic Monday, we're all about illness in this house.

Sampson is sick. We gave him medication yesterday which cleaned him out, but unfortunately it is also giving him a bit of a tummy ache. I just found him in the bedroom with his head stuck under the bed. Um, the rest of him doesn't really comfortably fit, so it's a funny picture if you visualize it, but a bit of a bummer when you realize he's doing it because he's sick.

I did not escape the plague that's been going around work. I have a nasty sore throat and I'm exhausted. I'm going to go in to have bloodwork done this afternoon, because I've been having anemia/thyroid issues. Hopefully I just need to adjust my medication and I'll be back on track and back in the office tomorrow to infect others and share the love.

OK, yay, well then! On a slightly brighter note, we watched this excellent holiday movie this weekend. You should see it, if for nothing else you can then say, "Come to Santa Butt-head...heh heh" and your spouse/partner will giggle right along with the absurdity. Ah, the absurdity. I think I need to go back to bed.
