Schpreeken el deutsch (or something like that)?
I have found a great article for the research I'm doing. The last of my credits (have I mentioned that I am taking 18 credits? in addition to working 20 hrs a week? and that I might be insane?) is independent research. I'm really excited about my project, I finally found an article out there that's helpful, and the damn thing is in German. GERMAN. Now, French, Spanish, Hungarian, I can mumble through. But German? Dammit. Screw a duck. What's worse is that since there aren't many English articles on dose-intensity of anastrozole, I can't imagine the friggin' thing is going to get translated any time soon. Oh, if only babelfish was trustworthy, but if I used that craptacular then the article would be something out of David Sedaris.
In German: 15 women reported no adverse effects; after stinky Internet translation: 15 women said the stars they saw came lovely and the effects were golden.
I am off to frost tasty Halloween cupcakes for my work group. Yay Halloween. Boo stupid lab exam on Thursday and med chem quizzes Thursday and Friday so I miss the Rod and Gab show tomorrow night. Anyone in Seattle, they're playing the Paramount and tickets are still available. Go!

when you find a German translator, let me know. Todd's (German) sister-in-law's parents sent us an engagement card, which they wrote a message in, and it's all in German - card and handwritten note. Neither one of us can read a word of it. :)
