Dream weaver
I have signed up for a Monday 7 am yoga class. It's now almost 10 pm and I don't have a chance of getting to bed early since I slept in. What was I thinking?
I had the weirdest dream about our wedding last night--we had a rehearsal this July instead of next July. I was wearing a hideous lace-and-organza baby blue monstrosity as a wedding dress. Very poofy skirt with a sweetheart neckline and lace that went up my neck. With gloves, the kind that pull up over your elbow, also in baby blue. It wasn't an elegant get-up, rather it was more of a Norma Desmond thing. And to get to the ceremony, I had to swim.
This is a recurrent dream of mine--I'm trying to get over a bridge near my grandmother's old house. It's a normal bridge, but then it sinks into the water and becomes railroad tracks suspended in the water. So I held onto the railroad tracks and swam along so I wouldn't get swept away. I usually wake up while I'm swimming. This time I ended up at a big Catholic church where a mass was happening, and we were having a marriage rehearsal as well. The priest was mad at us for interrupting, and no one knew where to go, and there was general mayhem. And then I had to go back through the submerged railroad tracks to get home, but this time it was easier because I was wearing the baby blue monstrosity.
Dream interpretations welcome, because I'm stumped. Maybe I need to get moving on the Save the Date cards and the website, and I'll start feeling less anxiety about the planning. Or wake up in time for stress-release yoga.
