Bridal shower redux

We went back east a few weeks ago to attend our shower. Ahh...back east...before Sammy's colon gave out...

Anyhoos, we had a brilliant time thanks to my fab-oo mother-in-law-to-be. The shower was wonderful, pretty, and a lot of fun. I had a fabulous time, and Scott was able to say hi to many family and friends.

The biggest surprise of all (dum dum DUM...) was that my family showed up! My mom, grandma, and sisters flew in from Florida. I started crying when I saw them, because it was such a great surprise.
The day after the shower, we were able to catch up with Scott's paternal grandparents and we had a lovely visit. Then we were off to New Hampshire to spend more time with his maternal grandparents. All in all, a great visit.

Back to present day. We're wrapping up our very fun visit with N, and then we're off to Vegas with Steph and Bob. I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!
