Cautiously optimistic
Maybe, just maybe, we've taken the House. Who knows about the Senate. I'm not crazy about the Democrats, but they're the lesser of two evils. I know, I know, we're not going to make real progressive progress thinking that way, but baby steps are good enough for this desperate liberal. All I can say is Hallelujah, Santorum is out of office!!! Woo hoo!
On a related fecal note (if you don't get the connection, see this), Sammy went to the vet today and is again cleaned out, for only $114. Whew! I am hoping that we can keep him on a regular basis by giving him meds every day. I'm much less stressed about our December trip back East, because our friend can come by some evenings and play with them, and a vet tech at the vet's office will come by in the morning to feed them and dose Sammy up. Happiness all around.
I have to add, and I feel guilty doing so because it's celebrity news, OMG, that the other happy news of the day involved Ms. Brit Spe@rs. Women dumping loser dirtbags makes me happy.

You make me laugh every day! I am so psyched about some of the people that got ousted--like Talent!! I was sickened by Rush and his attack on MJF--what a jackhole. Seriously.

My dad was actually upset that I had already heard about Britney's divorce, so he wasn't the first one to tell me. I cannot tell you how hilarious I found that.
My favorite part of this whole divorce is that Kevin Federline now has a new nickname: He is no longer K-Fed.
Now, he's Fed-Ex. Hee!
