The (late) Thanksgiving post

Well, it's about one week late, but better than never!

2007 has been a bit of a crazy year, so I'm certainly thankful for many things.

I'm thankful for my fabulous husband, who I married this year; for my friends, who keep me sane and listen to me rant. Many thanks especially go to Scott, Steph, Deb, Sarah, Jean, and my pharmie homies. Speaking of which, I'm thankful for being in grad school, although you wouldn't always know it from the way I bitch about it. :-)

I'm especially grateful to have a fabulous doctor who caught my pulmonary embolism before it killed me. A few more days and I could have died. So to Dr. B, thank you so, so, so very much.

I'm thankful for my crazy family, who reminds me to spay and neuter, and my wonderful pets, who make me laugh. Hee. Although my job sometimes drives me nuts, I'm happy to work where I work with fabulous people doing good research, who also make me laugh.

Finally, I'm grateful to have wonderful in-laws, a great support system, health insurance, people who love me and care about me, and wine.woot in my life. There, that's about it. Now I'm off to drink wine with Deb and look at photos of Italy. Happy Hump Day, y'all!
