Happy Chanukah!

We dug into some latkes tonight. Mmmm, latkes. They are so perfect, the bestest preparation of fried potatoes ever. Since I'm in the midst of studying for finals, we went with Trader Joe's (thanks to Gillian for the suggestion) rather than homemade and I have to say they make a great latke! She had also suggested trying them with goat cheese. Quelle yuppie! I loved it. Latkes are great with a slathering of goat cheese, some spiced applesauce, and a chaser of champagne. I'm so after some tasty jelly doughnuts tomorrow to keep the celebrating going. Yum.
