Sick, ya, ya betcha
Oh, I've managed to get the plague going 'round the school. At least I hope I caught that rather than the nasty sickness going around the public health clinic, because that stuff is a really rough respiratory illness. We'll see what the doctor says Thursday morning.
On to more fun stuff! I am loving HGTV. The house revamp shows are my favorites. They're just great. I'm a bit disappointed with the Food Network. So far they've had an Ace of Cakes marathon (after awhile, snooze) and Iron Chef. Again. Hum. I don't really give a crap about incorporating kumquats into a souffle, a bacon dish, and an omelet, so IC has jumped the shark for me. But of course, there's always the Daily Show and Colbert to keep me happy when nothing else can.
Woo hee haw, baseball post-season is starting! Wee hee! Between that, debate season, and football season, I am a happy camper! Yee haw! I'm hoping for a Rays-Cubs series, but it'll probably be Angels-Cubbies. We'll see.

My favorite home renovation show is "Clean House" on the Style Network. It always gives me the urge to clean out all of our junk and have a big yard sale (not that we ever do).
Oh, and add "The Soup" on E! to your DVR list. It gives you the best bits of all the TV shows that you'd rather not waste time watching (in one nice little half-hour), along with plenty of snark. Loves it.
