Spring break
Yee-haw! We're going to Rome in March! We are outta here for a week, and best part is that we get to fly Seattle to Amsterdam with a connection in Amsterdam. We got a fabulous deal on a great hotel. It even has free Internet in the lobby so I can blog a few days while I'm there. Roman holiday, here we come!

Woooo! That's awesome -- I've never been to Rome, but I went to Amsterdam last spring and I LOVED it. Make sure you go to the Portuguese synagogue... it looks like nothing from the outside, but inside, it's one of the most amazing places I've ever been.
(Also -- should we do our blogging challenge in February instead? You might not want to be worrying about finding Internet cafes every day on vacation!)
We're actually staying at a place with free Internet in the lobby. So I can blog a few times while we're there, and then blog each day when we're back, and make 25 days out of the month! (We are doing 25/31, right?)
I'm really excited to see the Roman Jewish ghetto and the Old Jewish Cemetery. I'm reviewing my Hebrew alphabet now so I can at least sorta read the tombstones. Very excited to see everything!
I am so jealous!
