Busy be me

I do not want to set a precedent of talking about work much, but I will say that I am in a baaaaad way right now. Very busy. Stressed. Trying to not stress eat too much. I'm bummed that I have to work a portion of this weekend, since we have friends in town. Oh well, moving on.

Our first bridal shower is coming up in about 6 weeks. I am excited to be going back east to hang out with my aunt and uncle, go up to Scott's grandparents' place, spend time with the gramps/gramps-in-laws, and meet the extended in-law circle. Scott's mom made the invitations, which are totally adorable and in the colors of our wedding. I say "first" because we're also having a shower in Floreedah, and then one here as well.

Ah, the wedding stuff begins. We're closing in on one year out from our wedding date. We were talking about this last night--we both wish we were getting married sooner, but I don't know how people pull it together. As it is between work and other stuff I'm feeling totally overwhelmed. Kudos to the people who can do short turnaround. I think I'd be popping tons of anti-anxiety meds if I had to do something sooner.
