One angry pumpkin
We call Sammy the pumpkin because he's very round. And compact. Seriouly, you stick a stem on his head, and we're all set.

Please note grumpiness here.
Sammy is on a diet per vet's instructions. While I do understand his pain (hiya, WW!) he has taken "being grumpy" to a whole new level. Like, punitive-grumpy, the kind of grumpy that eats stuff kitties aren't supposed to eat.
We are missing a plastic stopper on top of the door-stopper. Mmmm, hitting your foot on a big spring! He loves paper, and last month's cell phone bill made it into his stomach. Now it's feather wand. I caught him chomping down this morning on a feather wand that his little brother had pulled out of the utility room for him. He is one ferocious kitty.

I'm considering starting a new contest as a result of his eating anything and everything--Fur or Puke? I think fellow pet-owners can appreciate it.
Have a good weekend.

I stopped trying to keep Teenie on a diet because the other kitties seemed to LOVE her special low-cal cat food. (WTF?) It was impossible to measure her portions because they wouldn't keep their little faces out of her bowl.
But honestly, even way before I moved in with Dave and she was an "only child," she always ate less than the doctor-prescribed half cup per day. So, whatever. I can't force her to exercise, and she's not getting a kitty gastric bypass, so I give up.
I hate to admit (let voice drop to whisper here) but I have been looking for a harness and booties to walk Sammy. But, er, he's too fat for cat harnesses. And too small in the shoulders for a dog harness. Sigh.
