The Compass Poop
That is what we live by, folks. Sammy's colon tells us what direction our week is going in.
Sammy came home from the vet on Saturday, and hadn't pooped in two days. Sunday night I heard scritch, scritch, scritch. I jumped out of bed (at 2 am, so I guess it was actually Monday) and ran into the bathroom, throwing on the lights as I went.
And there was Sammy in the litter box. Pooping.
I screeched, I danced, I picked him up and hugged him. He was not pleased, in fact he stormed off in a huff and then hissed at me. He ran back to the box because he wasn't actually finished yet. Oops.
This is what cat ownership has done to me. I was an organized, go-getter yuppie who now wants to stay at home stationed in front of the litter box to catch a glimpse of the elusive Sammy poop. I can now pill a cat quickly and effectively, no pill gun needed. I think I am officially a Crazy Cat Lady.
