Root canal v.1 part 1

Hi y'all. Well, I made it through the first part. Thank you to Mom, Mom G, Steph, Sarah, Jean, Gwen, Lauri, and everyone else who calmed me down by letting me know what I was in for and/or for listening to me whine.

The public service announcement is: if you feel pain, go to the dentist right away. I didn't, obviously, and it turns out that I have a good infection going on in the tooth itself and the bone below. The procedure itself wasn't too bad; it took 3 hours to clean out the canals and get it sealed up. Unfortunately I'm still in a lot of pain, but that's the infection and not the procedure. Yay antibiotics!

Today we're going to the wedding show. We're getting married 6 months from today. Aaaaeeeeee. I'm volunteering for Gilda's Club selling raffle tickets and doing community outreach. I'll be at the booth for about three hours and I'm looking forward to it because the folks are cool, but I hope we're not next to some DJ display with a pounding bass beat or a cake display that smells sickeningly sweet because that will seriously dampen my excitement to be there. I'm secretly hoping to win the honeymoon package with a 1-raffle-ticket-purchase. Just one! That's all I need and I'll be awash in free stuff! Hmmm, drug-induced delusions? I'll let you decide.

We're off to Dixie later this week for bridal shower part deux. I am really looking forward to some warm sunshine, since it has been cccoooold here and of course raining. Thanks again to all of you and have a good week!
