Home stretch
Classes ended last week and finals are this week. 4 finals to go: tomorrow morning is med chem, Weds is anatomy/physiology, and Thursday is biochem plus finishing off independent study with my advisor. Last Wednesday I took my lab practical. Phew. We ended the year on a reproductive note, which involved me going around looking in a poor man's dissected genitalia, trying to figure out what part they wanted me to answer for the exam. Not fun, but now? DONE. No more cadavers ever again, and that is what matters! Yee haw!
BTW, if y'all don't check out Indexed, you should go there and read some of her latest stuff, which is simply brilliant. I especially love the entry entitled "Who can take care of everything?"

Hee--we also ended on a repro note. I think our donor was a "show-er" not a "grower" or maybe it just sort of stretches out or something after you die. The whole thing makes me giggle. Good luck on the remaining exams!
See, that right there is why I will never, ever enter the medical profession. But more power to ya.
