Whoa, dude!

I just found out tonight that someone I went to high school with went off to college, returned to our hometown, became a teacher at a local school...

...and then married our high school science teacher.

I have no idea why this is shaking my world view so much, but HOLY CRAP. Marrying your high school science teacher, a man 20 years your senior? Seriously? Holy bejeebus, I cannot get over that. I remember this man teaching us about the Krebs cycle when we were 14, and to think he's now married to someone my age, well, shiznit. That just blows my mind. Especially given that she's a nice, pretty girl that we all liked, and he was basically a sleazeball for whom there were plenty of rumors flying around. And he left his wife and kids to marry a former student.

I think I need to go get a paper bag or something. I'm hyperventilating. Blech, yech, barf.
