Ah, better

Scott's uncle was in town until this morning, and last night we went to dinner. The man is hysterical. HI-sterical. We totally enjoyed seeing him, and what's better, he might be out here more often on company business, so we'll get to spend more time with him.

The last few days have been really productive: I've finished a few wedding things, I've been studying for grad school, and I've made more progress on my application. So things are looking up in preparation for school starting next week. I'm a bit nervous about it, since that will add a lot to my schedule and I might have to add yet another class, and I'm not cutting back from 40 hours. But fingers crossed I'll continue to be productive and (mostly) sane through the Oct 21st exam.

I'm working from home today, and lil' Caspy couldn't be happier. He has been running in circles to try to get me to play with him rather than work. He wasn't succeeding until he ran head-first into the wall at high speed. That got Mommy's attention. I'm looking forward to getting a lot more done today. It's a perfect day, with rain, the fireplace, tea, and furbabies.
