Numbed

My feet were very numb again this morning, so I spent the morning working from home and went to work in the afternoon. I go to the MS center for an evaluation on 4/26. I'm not looking forward to the appointment per se, but I do hope to get some answers from it. My feet are numb everyday; the numbness varies as to how bad it is.

Speaking of numb, I'm stunned by the shooting at Virginia Tech. Scott went to Tech; he lived in the Ambler-Johnston and took classes at Norris since he was an engineering student. He doesn't know any undergrads there now; who knows which professors were killed.

After each of these blood baths I hope that some lesson is learned, that gun laws change, because hey, if you can't git the guns then you can't do the killins! but I'm sure nothing will change because many people in this country have the idiotic notion that weaponry is akin to liberty and a friggin' firearm is a right. I'm very interested to hear how this maniac got his gun; did he skirt an existing law that's not enforced or did he legally purchase it? Either way, too many guns in this damn country and too many morons running around with them.
