Nervous and hoping

I should receive my MRI results tomorrow or Tuesday. Part of me hopes that there is something there, so that I have an answer to what's going on. Part of me hopes that the scans are negative so that there is nothing wrong however I can't believe that there is nothing wrong, given that I can't feel my foot. Hope springs eternal, eh?

Saturday morning I woke up and went on a cleaning frenzy. I cleaned the cat bathroom, scrubbed litter boxes, cleaned cat ears, medicated them, and vacuumed. I took a shower and when I went to towel off both hands were numb. I tried to calm myself down, failed miserably, and went to bed. Thirty minutes later I felt better and could feel both of my hands again. Now I'm rooting for some sort of nerve compression in my spine that's causing the numbness in my hands and feet. That would be better than some of the other options.

I'm trying to be very positive about everything but it's hard to do when you're scared, tired, and feel like hell. I know that other people have gone through this but I don't know where to reach out to yet since I don't have a firm diagnosis. I know that my friends and family are there for me but most people don't want to talk about it or don't know what to say, and since I don't know what's going on, I don't know what to say. I don't know if I have MS, or some kind of nerve condition, or maybe I'm making a big deal out of some spinal condition, although I've been told that's a long shot. For now I'll keep hoping for the best and bumbling through my days.
