Saucy

Yo ho ho and a bottle of wine! I'm back on the sauce; turns out I don't have to worry about wine until I'm up to my full dose of anti-migraine medications. Har! I guess I should ask more closely when I'm at the doctor's office before tossing the baby out with the booze water.

Ahem. So I'm trying to put this whole "may have a disabling neurological disease" out of my head until Monday. Fat chance, but me tryin' anyhoos. First off, we're going ahead with our party tomorrow night. I have a problem with planning these things; I either have waaay too much food or not enough. I just realized that I have nothing for the lactose-intolerant and/or non-cheese lovers because everything, and I do mean everything on the menu includes cheese. Well then. I need to come up with something that's not hummus yet not cheesy for an appetizer.

Then on Sunday it's girls' brunch at the Steelhead Diner. I'm in love with this place. Their dungeness crab sandwich is fabuloso y muy bueno and the salads are also delish.

Other than that, I'll be working on wedding stuff and taking it easy. I'm reading A Photographer's Life, 1990-2005 by Annie Leibovitz. The funny thing is that the text is maybe 20 pages max, but I'm still only halfway through it because I keep flipping through photos to match them up with her words. Much of her work is so amazing it takes my breath away. I have proved time and time again that I have no natural aptitude for photography, so seeing things through her eyes makes me appreciate her talent even more.

Have a great weekend y'all.
