Random ramblings and good news
Haaaapppy happy news! My brother went to his regular 6-month checkup. No growth, no changes! Quick background: he has a brain tumor, and it's wrapped around his brain stem, so surgery is out. He has a great neurologist who's doing a watch-and-wait approach, and we don't need to do radiation so long as it isn't growing. It's not, hallelujah, good news!
Spring is slowly arriving here. Folks out here crack me up. Yes, it's technically spring, but that doesn't mean y'all should be wearing sandals and capris just yet, considering it was 35 balmy degrees this morning in downtown Seattle. Put the cardigan back on, cover your tootsies, and wait until Memorial Day.
In other happy stuff, baseball season had opening day last night. I do love me some opening day action. The M's actually WON a game. Won against the A's. Last year they won all of 2 games against the A's so we're already halfway to last year's win percentage.
That's all for now, folks. I'm going to curl up with some tasty grapefruit avocado salad and watch the M's possibly (gasp!) win another game. Stranger things have happened.
