Ave Maria

We went to a wonderful restaurant tonight, where we had a bunch of good food, drank good wine, and sang Ave Maria with a bunch of nuns. More on that later.

Today we went to the Baths of Diocletian, the National Museum of Rome (tons of good sculpture!), a tasty wine bar, and Santa Maria del Vittoria, which has one of the famous statues of Bernini, St. Theresa in Ecstasy. Sorry, as I said before, no apostrophes on the Italian keyboard that I can figure out.

Tomorrow is our last day in Rome. The plan is to hit up the Vatican necropolis, see the neighborhood of Trastevere, and then do some shopping. After that, one last walk around Rome at night and then on Friday we leave the hotel around 6 am to catch our flight up to Amsterdam, and then it is 10 hours back to Seattle from there.

That is all for now, folks! Hopefully less stilted, formal language on the next post with an Anglo keyboard. Ciao!
