Back to the apple (filled with worms)

I am just about done with school for the year; unfortunately there's a whole 'nother quarter starting tomorrow. Meh. I have a CPR refresher class to go to on Tuesday night (joy!) to keep my certification current as well so I can keep going to clinic and my liability insurance doesn't go kaput. Harrumph.

On to happier things. I went to yoga class today at Samarya. This was my first time there, and it was an interesting class. The focus was yin nidra, so we were doing lots slow poses and stretches, holding each pose for about 3-5 minutes at a time. I love pigeon pose, so I was happy to hold that. I hate bridge, however, so was not pleased to be doing back bends for long periods of time. But Samarya is pretty cool in that they do therapy with a local hospice and it's a barebones place that has non-super-yuppie types on their website. They offer classes in Spanish, and have classes like "yoga for anxiety" and "yoga for addiction." Granted, I don't think yoga can cure either, but they can help.

So that was how I started my day. I'm now dreading logging back into work, but I need to get moving on some stuff before morning. Onwards and upwards to my 7:30 am meeting. Meh. Happy Monday!
