Recap o' the blogging challenge
Happy April fools! No, no joke posts here. The last day of the blogging challenge was yesterday, and I'm happy to report I blogged 25+ days March. I'm sorry if you're here for Rome pictures; those will be up this weekend most likely, along with a more detailed trip summary. School started Monday, and I now am working on a grant at work, so it's back to ass-over-tea kettle mode.
The list? How's the list? Here it is:
1) Run a 5K (registering for both the Race for the Cure in June, and Summerrun in July to benefit ovarian cancer)
2) Lose 10 lbs (still working on that-walked anywhere from 5-10 miles a day in Rome and didn't lose a bit. Stinking cured meats and cheeses...)
3) Finish the embroidery piece. (No progress.)
4) Finish two manuscripts that I'm working on through school. (Summer, here's hoping.)
5) Do something for a charity each month-write a thank-you note with a check to a small local one, give a donation to a new one, etc (Jan-Point Defiance; Feb-Saving Pets One at a Time; March-Seattle City Light Project Share; April-Baltimore Cares About Pets)
6) Blog 25 days of one month (DONE)
7) Take a knife skills class (Hee, summer?)
8) See one new international destination (DONE-March, Rome)
9) Save at least $2000 above my usual savings goal ($600 of the way there).
Have a fantabulous Weds, y'all. Happy Hump day!

Way to go! Even people with massive amounts of free time can't do all that at once. You are doing so much stuff and I admire what you're trying to accomplish in addition to that!
