Notes on a Florida vacation
Our big Floridian odyssey is wrapping up. It's been a good trip! The highlights:
1) Driving to the airport in Seattle was crazy. We only had about an inch of snow on the ground, no ice, and people were ditching their cars on the side of the road. Weirdos. Once we got to the airport, our flight left late because we had to wait for de-icing plus late-arriving passengers. We missed our Atlanta connection, then ended up eating breakfast at the Chili's in Orlando while waiting for our bags to come in on another flight. Now I crave buffalo wings at 10 am. Mmmm wings.
2) I finished my antibiotics 2 days ago and my tooth has STOPPED HURTING. You have no idea how amazing this is. I can chew on both sides of my mouth! Yesss!!!!
3) I am snuggling my parents' 3 cats like crazy while I go through Casper and Sampson withdrawal. The cats can't wait for us to leave.
4) I would like to claim private citizen eminent domain and take over my neighbor's unit to install a pool and jacuzzi. Having those around is niiiiiice. Have I mentioned that it's 80 degrees here? Aaaaahhhhh.
5) The shower was great, I saw relatives I haven't seen in quite a long time, and we got a buncha loot. Loot!
