Happy
Today I was sitting at my desk, looking through the San Francisco Chronicle's photo album of couples getting married. The looks of pure joy on the faces of the people in the photos made me so, so happy (and teary, because I'm good like that at weddings).
I have three hopes:
1) That the November amendment in California to ban same-sex marriage will fail;
2) That I will see legal same-sex marriage everywhere in my lifetime, and
3) Finally, that Obama will win this year. Just because.

I second that!
Number 3 would probably take care of the other 2. But yeah, amen, sister. Everytime we see Bush on TV, I keep telling Dave, "God, I can't WAIT to vote this year."
I third that! Can't we just declare Obama the winner already so we can get on with fixing the mess from the last 8 years...?
