Party on, Wayne!

This morning I had a med chem exam (diagnostics). I studied for the exam last night, then got up this morning and studied s'more. I had a good grade going into the exam, but was a bit worried about it because I hadn't studied as much as I should.

The prof told us to take our papers off our desks, and then told us to come up and pick up our quizzes up front (we had a quiz on Weds where we had to get a min of 15/25; anything below 15 and he'd take .1 off of our final grade, e.g. 13/25=.2 off your final grade). He also told us to take an orange sheet.

Turns out that the packet up front was a final exam, plus our calculated grade, and the quiz. The final exam was being converted to a take-home exam, with the best possible grade you could get being a 85. The orange sheet was a letter from him explaining that if we had better than a 3.5 in the class, to not bother taking the final exam. I flipped over my grade, saw that I had a 24/25 on the quiz, an A in the class, and booh-yah! I signed the exam confirming that I did NOT want to take the final, and then I was outta there. That, friends, is a great way to take a final exam. :-)
