Oof

The last few days have been pretty rough. I'm taking prednisone for the leg numbness, and it's really amping me up. I've been up at 4 am the last few days, only to fall back asleep at 6:30 and then wake up at 8:30. I feel like I've been run over by a truck, with hot flashes to boot.

Right now they're still not sure what's causing the problem, but it's more than a migraine issue. I have a neurology workup a week from today, so here's hoping that sheds more light on what's going on. I'd like for my leg to get some feeling back, but I can function with it as it is, so I'm hoping that it doesn't get worse.

On to happy news! We bought our wedding rings yesterday and we're getting ready to book the honeymoon. We have a fat, adorable orange kitty joining us this weekend as a foster. His name is Butterball, and he needs to work on a few health issues as well as his weight. Then he goes back for adoption (no, we're not keeping him). I'll post pictures soon.
