Foster furry

Meet Butterball.
No, not photo-shopped in any way. Really, this is what he looks like. Small kitten face, huge cat body.

This poor baby was adopted, *not* cared for by his butthead owner, and then unceremoniously dumped back to us. He's got a cold that's also affecting his eye, a bladder infection, and urine burn. The poor baby's nose is so irritated that he's been sneezing yellow goop and blood. Yuck.

With all that, he is still an affectionate, adorable monkey who has been chasing Casper around the condo. Sampson's okay with him, and the three of them even set up shop in front of the fireplace.

So here's hoping his medicine kicks in soon; his eye, nose, bladder, and butt heal; and then we can start working on getting him down to a regular kitty circumference! Scott and I have a bet as to how much we can trim off of him in the first month. I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose since we have to get him healthy before we can get him losing weight, but c'est la vie. Off to feed, scoop, and medicate. Happy Tuesday!
