Sampson the pup
I hope y'all had a restful, happy 4th. We were in Philadelphia for Alissa's wedding, and had a fabulous time. We stayed with our friends Bob and Steph, who have a newborn baby. Stephen is 17 days old as of this posting. He's a cute baby, very big (10 lbs already!) and very sweet. We also had our first wedding anniversary. We spent the day in Philly being dorky, seeing the historical sights before heading out to a fabulous dinner. More on that in another post. For now, I'm about to head off to the shelter for dog walking, so my thoughts are on the pups. I totally want this dog, who just happens to be named Sampson. Yay Sampsons! I luuuurve this dog. Isn't he the most beautiful pup ever?

Ok seriously, the doggie Sampson is very cute, and you know I think your devotion to animals is awesome, but you aren't really going to adopt a dog, are you? Don't you deal with enough animal poop in your house already?
Of course, the main reason we don't have a dog is because they can't be litter-trained. And I'm lazy. :-) Maybe by the time Cate's old enough to walk a dog, we'll see.
No, we aren't going to adopt a dog. Really. :-) I think if we adopt anything next, it will be a human. Stay tuned.
